SUMMER ART CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS
Summer has arrived and the artists are busy painting and the potters throwing. The kilns are fired up and ready to go. This summer we are offering a series of shorter classes to fit around your travel plans. Register now for Landscape Painting or Beginning Drawing—both beginning on Tuesday, July 26th. Or, participate in one of our many workshops and try out Raku Firing with Brett Thomas, Still Life Painting with Georganna Lenssen, Throwing Large Scale Forms with Kevin Crowe or Bas-Relief Sculpture with Jennifer Frudakis-Petry.
Our Half-Day Summer Kids Camp is underway and it is great to hear the chatter and scampering of the children as they are busy with clay, paint, pencils, paper and mixed media. The first week began with the theme Under the Sea. And, there’s still time to register for the Archaeology Dig (July 11-15), Myths and Legends (July 18-22), and Nature and the Great Outdoors (July 25-29). Check out our Kids Art and Clay Gallery on Facebook to see some of their work from the first week of camp.
