Each year the National Iron & Stell Heritage Museum (NISHM) presents the Rebecca Lukens Award to a regional individual that exhibits the same qualities as our nation’s first female industrialist Rebecca Lukens: resilience, leadership, courage, and strategic outlook. This year’s recipient is Sandra Momyer, former Executive Director and present Archivist at Historic Yellow Springs, a village with 300 years of history. She is also vice president of the Schuylkill River Heritage Center.
