The result is a stunning and distinct style of floral arrangement. Classes include demonstrations, vocabulary, and hands-on participation. Students learn how to prepare and condition materials, develop compositions, the mechanics of assembling components, and the fine art of showing the beauty of the flower, branch and leaf without any one element competing with the others. Each week students will bring home an ikebana arrangement of their own creation. When floral composition and arranging follows the principles of ikebana the resulting arrangement is one of sculpted elegance.
