April 29 – May 14, 2023
The Yellow Springs Art Show began in 1973 and has grown over the years into a notable Spring Chester County tradition! Did you know that when the show began, artwork was hung on a line with clothespins outside? That is very different than how the show is displayed today! One thing that has remained the same is that the Yellow Springs Art Show Committee, including the chairman, are all volunteers! Together with the support of the entire staff and board, this event has become our biggest annual fundraiser! We look forward to celebrating our 50th annual Yellow Springs Art Show with you! Thank you for your continued support, we look forward to presenting a truly fabulous 50th!
We will be kicking off the 2023 show on April 28th with a wonderful evening of fine art, cocktails, dinner and delight! Be the first to view the show for the first pick from the beautiful artwork of over 200 artists! Then stroll through the portico and enjoy dinner in the beautiful Washington building. The same space used for dining for orphans, art students, and filmmakers, built on the foundation of a tavern where General George Washington set up temporary headquarters and commissioned the first military hospital to be built here in Yellow Springs!
Be a part of preserving this village and it’s amazing history and join us for the Yellow Springs Art Show 50th Frolick!
