June 7, 2026 | 3:00 – 6:00pm
Where
Historic Yellow Springs SIDE OF THE LINCOLN BUILDING

Join us for the 28th Annual Jazz at the Springs on Sunday, June 7, from 3–6 PM, rain or shine, as Historic Yellow Springs comes alive with music, history, and community spirit. This beloved outdoor festival has been a joyful herald of summer in the village since 1998, often drawing more than 800 attendees for an afternoon of world-class jazz and relaxed celebration. Set against the historic landscape of Yellow Springs, the event offers a lively musical escape that brings neighbors, families, and visitors together.
In honor of America’s 250th anniversary in 2026, this year’s celebration takes on added meaning with Dare to Declare!, a special reading and discussion of the Declaration of Independence thoughtfully woven into the afternoon’s programming. This moment of reflection invites audiences of all ages to engage with the words and ideas that shaped our nation, connecting past and present through shared civic experience. Guided by renowned regional performer Carolyn Nelson and fellow musicians from the Philadelphia jazz scene, the event blends powerful storytelling with the beloved groove audiences know and love.

Local food vendors, family-friendly activities, and the welcoming energy of the village round out the festivities, making Jazz at the Springs a truly all-ages experience. Free and open to the public, the event is made possible through the support of partners and friends like you. By joining us, you’re celebrating music, history, and helping advance the mission of Historic Yellow Springs to engage the community in this special space. Come for the jazz, stay for the meaning, and help us dare to declare together this June.
