Call for Artists - Register Now for our 2021 Show
We would like to invite you to participate in our 2021 Historic Yellow Springs Members Art Show. We are pleased to provide this opportunity for you to display your artwork in the galleries of the Lincoln building as a benefit of your membership. Download application and jury form here
The Dates for this Year's Show are December 4-12
The show is open to all current members of Historic Yellow Springs aged 16+ and accepts works in ceramics, paintings, drawings, mixed media, photography, sculpture, and fiber arts. You need not be a professional artist to participate.
You may enter 1-3 original pieces of artwork. 2-D works must be suitably matted and framed, and equipped with wire for hanging. Pedestals will be provided for 3-D works.
Historic Yellow Springs will receive a 35% commission on all artwork sold. Having your work for sale would be appreciated but is not required to participate in the show.
You must provide your own insurance coverage for all artwork entered in the show. While reasonable care will be taken handling all artwork, HYS will not be held responsible for loss or damage. Any items that are not picked up within 30 days after the show ends will become the property of HYS.
2021 HYS Members Art Show Timeline
Deadline to Enter:
Applications and inventory forms must be received by HYS by Friday, November 19, 2021.
Artwork Drop Off:
Drop artwork off at the Lincoln building on Monday, November 29, between 10 AM - 4 PM. Artwork will not be accepted after drop off date.
Sadly, we will not be hosting an opening reception, but hope to bring back the show events in 2022! Visit the show December 4 – 12, galleries in the Lincoln building will be open daily from 10 AM - 4 PM. Admission is free to the public!
Artwork Pick Up:
Pick up artwork at the Lincoln building on Thursday, December 16, between 10 AM – 4 PM.
