Join Historic Yellow Springs for the opening of the 2026 Yellow Springs Ceramics National, a celebration of contemporary ceramic art featuring exceptional artists from across the country.
The evening begins at 6 PM with a free community lecture by this year’s juror, Sean O’Connell, offering an opportunity to hear directly from a nationally recognized ceramic artist and educator about his perspective on contemporary ceramics, craftsmanship, and the artists selected for this year’s exhibition.
Following the lecture, stay for the Opening Reception from 7–9 PM to explore the exhibition, meet fellow artists and ceramics enthusiasts, and experience a remarkable collection of contemporary ceramic work in the historic setting of Yellow Springs.
The Yellow Springs Ceramics National brings together artists working across functional and sculptural ceramics, highlighting innovative approaches to material, form, surface, and craftsmanship. The exhibition reflects Historic Yellow Springs’ long-standing commitment to supporting artists and expanding access to the ceramic arts.
