Ceramics National Individual Sponsorships
Greetings from Historic Yellow Springs!
New for 2026, the Yellow Springs Ceramics National is proud to introduce Individual Supporter Sponsorships because every supporter and every donation makes an impact! Our effort is to offer collectors, patrons, and ceramic enthusiasts a meaningful way to invest in the growth of the ceramic arts in Chester County. Whether you are supporting the exhibition through general sponsorship or by establishing a Purchase Award, your participation helps elevate both the artists and the exhibition itself.
In 2007, Chester Springs Studio officially merged with Historic Yellow Springs, bringing together the village’s rich history and vibrant art community. This merger has created a unique blend of art and history classes, workshops, and exhibits. Today, our art programs thrive, making Chester Springs Studio and the brand-new Fraley Studio an artistic hub in northern Chester County. Our talented faculty brings both expertise and enthusiasm to intimate classroom settings, while visiting artists lead workshops that broaden students’ horizons.
This year, we are honored to have celebrated artist and educator Sean O’Connell guiding our event. He will engage artists on a national level to explore the vast potential of clay. The event will feature awards, lectures, and workshops, along with additional tours and experiences, ensuring a delightful experience for learners and collectors of all ages and skill levels. By becoming an Individual Sponsor, you join a growing community of collectors and supporters dedicated to sustaining ceramic artists, fostering artistic excellence, and ensuring that the Yellow Springs Ceramics National continues to thrive for years to come.
For 2026, we are offering four levels of individual sponsorship, each with its own unique recognition:
• Ceramics Friend — $25+
• Friend of the Exhibition — $100+
• Patron of the Exhibition — $350+
• Purchase Award Sponsor — $500+ (NEW)
A Purchase Award is more than a sponsorship, it is a commitment to recognizing artistic excellence by acquiring artwork from the exhibition while also providing direct support for Historic Yellow Springs and its nationally recognized ceramics program. Purchase Award Sponsors become celebrated collectors, forging lasting relationships with both the artists whose work they champion and the organization that brings these opportunities to life.
Your support at any level allows us to celebrate the arts while maintaining free admission for all attendees, fostering an inclusive and creative environment for the community. The impact of Historic Yellow Springs and the Yellow Springs Ceramics National depends on the generosity of sponsors like you. Thank you for being an essential part of our community’s cultural fabric.
Sincerely,
Tim Compton
Executive Director
Strengthen your collection while directly supporting both an exhibiting artist and Historic Yellow Springs. Purchase Awards are among the most meaningful forms of support in a juried exhibition. Rather than simply making a donation, sponsors help recognize artistic excellence, encourage the careers of contemporary ceramic artists, and begin or expand their own collection of original artwork. This unique partnership benefits the artist, the sponsor, and Historic Yellow Springs by celebrating outstanding work while ensuring the continued success of the Yellow Springs Ceramics National.
How It Works
- Your $500 sponsorship supports the Yellow Springs Ceramics National and establishes a named Purchase Award.
- During the exhibition, you select one artwork to receive your Purchase Award.
- The artist receives official recognition as a Purchase Award recipient and a portion of the sponsorship proceeds in recognition of the award.
- You then purchase the selected artwork from the show at its listed sale price.
- A Purchase Award ribbon is displayed alongside the artwork throughout the exhibition.
- Your selected piece becomes part of your personal collection while your sponsorship helps sustain future exhibitions.
(Artwork purchase price is separate from the $500 sponsorship.)
