HYS Fall Festival Partner Information
Welcome the spirit of autumn and save the date for the 4th Annual Historic Yellow Springs Fall Festival on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 12–4 pm! Celebrate the Fall season in the charming village of Yellow Springs while exploring its rich, 300+ year history. This free, family-friendly event offers a festive afternoon of fall activities for visitors of all ages.
Community organizations are invited to join the festivities by setting up a tent and table to share information, connect with attendees, and promote the valuable services and initiatives you offer. This is a great opportunity to engage with the local community, build new partnerships, and raise awareness about your mission. Please bring at least one bag of treats to hand out!
There is no table fee to participate. All participants must provide their own signage, tent, table, and chairs.
Day of Event Timeline:
11 – 11:45 AM – SET UP
All partners and vendors must arrive before 11:25 am and vehicles need to be moved off Art School Road by 11:45 am.
12 – 4 PM – EVENT OPEN
Participants are expected to stay for the entire event.
4 – 5 PM – EVENT BREAKDOWN
Vehicles may return to Art School Road for loading. Street reopens to traffic at 5 pm.
The Fall Festival is rain or shine. We will be monitoring the weather forecast leading up to the event. An email with information and set up locations will be sent to all participating organizations on Friday, October 10.

Space is limited. HYS reserves the right to prioritize participating organizations. An email confirming participation will be sent on September 19.
Glow for Good Nonprofit Pumpkin Carving Contest & Community Jack-O-Lantern Exhibition
We encourage all participating nonprofit organizations to join in this spirited contest. Your carved pumpkin will be displayed during the even and attendees will have the chance to vote for their favorite pumpkin. The nonprofit organization with the most votes will receive a free half-page advertisement in the prestigious 2026 Yellow Springs Art Show catalog.
All participating partners may enter a pumpkin to be displayed in the exhibition, but only nonprofit partners may compete in the Glow for Good Challenge for the prize.
Exhibition/Contest Rules:
- Participants must provide pumpkin. (Real and foam pumpkins accepted)
- Pumpkin must be carved, and have accessibility to put a light inside.
HYS will provide the lights.
Carved Pumpkins can be dropped off at the Lincoln building on Friday, October 10th • 9:30 am – 3:45 pm or the day of the event at 11 am. All pumpkins can be picked up at the end of the event after 4 pm.
